HSSoC is a beginner-friendly open source coding program for students. It runs during the summer to help you learn, contribute, and grow — all while working on real-world open source projects.
HashSlap Summer of Code (HSSoC) is a student-led initiative to promote open source learning during the summer. Students of all skill levels can explore real projects, work collaboratively, and gain valuable development experience.
Open source means software whose code is freely available to use, modify, and improve. It’s how tools like Linux, Firefox, and Python are built — and now you can be part of it too.
